High-Performance Work Systems and Intrapreneurial Behavior: The Mediating Role of Knowledge Centered Culture

Abstract Background and purpose Employee intrapreneurial behavior (EIB) has become strategically important for organizational performance. Contemporary managers are exploring ways by which EIB can be reinforced sustained. The of this study is to examine the role high-performance work systems (HPWS) knowledge centered culture (KCC) on EIB, mediating KCC HPWS-EIB path. Methodology proposed hypotheses were tested utilizing variance-based structural equation modeling approach cross-sectional responses garnered from individuals working in Jordanian tourism, travel, hospitality enterprises. Results analyses yielded robust support associations. As expected, HPWS had a direct significant effect EIB. Consequently, did not only impact significantly, but also mediated association between Conclusion This considers bundle HR initiatives via explores underlying processes nurtured. Unlike past discoveries that linked shows why how enabled an Arabian context. findings extend discoveries, provide theoretical practical basis as outcome.
